Does Loft on Lake have in-house speakers?
Loft on Lake does has built in speakers in the front cocktail lounge area, so your music vendors are able to plug in to provide sound to that area. Music vendors generally provide all of their own equipment for their setup. We do have a DJ Kit available to rent should you want to play from an iPad or laptop.
Will Loft on Lake provide a place or table for my DJ to setup?
We provide 6ft or 8ft tables, make sure your caterer provides a linen for the table.
Where do I load in my equipment? Is there a loading dock?
Loft on Lake is ground level, all vendors can load-in easily through our back entrance.
Where can my DJ park?
There’s free street parking in the neighborhood. Music Vendors may rent a parking spot in our back lot for $15, let us know at least two weeks in advance of the event to reserve private parking. There are also public parking garages in the area within very short walk to the venue.
Any tips for a seamless DJ experience?
We highly recommend walking through the space with your DJ, especially if they have not performed in the space previously. If this is not possible, be sure to have a thorough conversation with them about flow of the evening.
