After the ceremony, the guests and bridal party transitioned into the front space for light drinks and delicious hors d’oeuvres & sushi from Thalia Spice. Meanwhile D’Absolute Catering transformed the space for the reception. The couple opted to have Furama Restaraunt drop off delicious, authentic dishes for their guests to enjoy, with D’Absolute handling the bartending & staffing for the event. For the reception, the bride opted for contrasting black linen to offset the white chiavari chairs and the gorgeous damask table runners was stunning – a perfect complement to the ceremony. Each place setting came with a pair of chopsticks and a beautiful greeting from the couple – just some of the many personal touches that really made this wedding unique. But all the gorgeous people & decor aside, the best part of the reception was the Dragon Dance.
A first for the venue, it was great fun to have the traditional drummers and dragon come and perform for everyone at this wedding. Scroll down to see the event unfold – click the images to visit our Facebook Page & see more weddings and events we host.
Cupcakes from Molly’s Chicago for the guests to snack on after dinner.
The groom had some fun with the dragon before the dance was done.
